Hall Liner Sensor

What is the main structure of Hall Liner Sensor?

Hall Liner Sensor has eight wires. Among the eight lines, the third thick is the power supply line of the motor, the colors are yellow, blue and green, and the fifth thin is the Hall line or signal line, with five colors, red, black, yellow, blue and green, red and black are the power supply of Hall Line, the general power supply is 5 volts, red is +, black is -, yellow, blue and green are the output lines of the three Halls, and they correspond to the three thick lines.

The Hall effect is essentially the deflection of moving charged particles in a magnetic field caused by the Lorentz force. When charged particles (electrons or holes) are confined in a solid material, this deflection results in a build-up of positive and negative charges perpendicular to the current and magnetic field, creating an additional transverse electric field.

What is the main mode of action of Hall Liner Sensor?

There is a Hall semiconductor sheet in the magnetic field, and a constant current I passes through the sheet from A to B. Under the action of the Lorentz force, the electron flow of I shifts to one side when passing through the Hall semiconductor, causing the sheet to generate a potential difference in the CD direction, which is the so-called Hall voltage.

The Hall sensor is a magnetic field sensor made according to the Hall effect. According to the Hall effect, the components made of semiconductor materials are called Hall elements. It has the advantages of sensitivity to magnetic field, simple structure, small size, wide frequency response, large output voltage change and long service life, so it is widely used in the fields of measurement, automation, computer and information technology.

What are the application fields of Hall Liner Sensor?

  1. Measurement field: It can be used to measure magnetic field, current, displacement, pressure, vibration, speed, etc.

  2. Communication field: It can be used in amplifiers, oscillators, phase-sensitive detection, frequency mixing, frequency division, and microwave power measurement.

  3. In the field of automation technology: it can be used in brushless DC motors, speed sensing, position sensing, automatic counting, proximity switches, etc.

A reed switch, also known as a reed sensor or magnetic switch, is an electrical switch that is activated by the presence or absence of a magnetic field. It consists of two or more flexible metal reeds sealed within a glass or plastic tube filled with inert gas.

The reeds are made of ferromagnetic materials, such as nickel-iron alloys, that can be magnetized. When a magnetic field is applied to the switch, the reeds are attracted to each other, closing the electrical circuit. When the magnetic field is removed, the reeds spring back to their original position, opening the circuit.

Reed switches are simple, reliable, and have a long operational life. They are commonly used in various applications, including proximity sensing, position detection, and security systems. For example, they can be used in door and window sensors, liquid level sensors, flow meters, and burglar alarm systems.
